Obituary of Theodore J. Seils

Theodore J. Seils "Papa" passed away on January 4, 2020 at 84 years of age. He was predeceased by the love of his life, Geraldine M. Seils. He leaves behind his devoted children, Kathleen Seils, Eileen Seils, and Amy (James) Rapp, and his adoring grandchildren, Savannah and Hansen, who were everything to their Papa. Theodore (Ted) actively served in the United States Navy from 1955 until 1958 aboard the USS Norfolk and in the U.S Naval Reserve until 1963. In 1958 he met the love of his life, Geraldine, and they were married in 1961. Geraldine passed away in April 2019 two weeks before their 58th wedding anniversary. Theodore was a kind, gentle, loving man, who was devoted to his family. He retired as a lithographer and he and Geraldine spent their retirement years traveling via cruise ships through the Caribbean, British Isles, Europe, and Africa and enjoying family and friends. His favorite past times were tending to his pool while listening to the tunes of Sinatra, hanging out in his screened garage, playing Euchre, making wine, and eating Ukrainian food. He was a loyal Yankees and Giants fan. He will be sadly missed by all who had the good fortune of having known him. Inurnment will be held privately.
