Curran, Josephine D. Irondequoit: Sunday, January 5, 2020 at age 93. Predeceased by her husband, Douglas; infant son, Michael; son-in-law Jim; grandson, Jimmy; sisters, Mary (Bob), Ann, Catherine, Margaret, Helen (Ed) and Theresa (Ken); niece, Cathy and nephew, Michael. Josephine is survived by her children, Maureen, Jeanne (John), Daniel, Patricia (Ron), Jim (Ellen), Joanne (Ray), Cathleen (Peter), John; 25 grandchildren 18 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Jo was a mother and always put her family first and was known for her endless spunk, her eye for style and a love for shopping. She was the true definition of small but mighty, and always spoke her mind and did not sugar coat a thing other than her baked goods. She always had her hair and nails done to perfection, and loved milk and cookies more than Santa himself. Her children extend a special thank you to their brother, John who took exceptional care of their mother. Her family will receive friends Wednesday, January 8, 4:00 - 7:00pm at the funeral home (570 Kings Highway So.). Friends are invited to join the family Thursday, January 9, 9:30 am at St. Kateri at Christ The King Church for her funeral mass. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to Association For The Blind, 422 South Clinton Avenue, Rochester, NY 14620.
