I was one of Gary's last apprentice at Webster Tool & Die in the mid 1980's, I studied under him for four years until becoming a Journeyman Tool & Die Maker. There wasn't anything Gary couldn't build or fix and he taught me the same. I have bounced around a few shops and realize what a blessing it was to work beside him. Today I make precision optics at Optimax using the skills he passed along to me, I will miss but never forget him. Blue chips and blue endmills to you my friend. Bob Crum Irondequoit, NY

I knew Gary for many years, I grew up a BayRat. I have so many fond childhood memories of Gary and Marlene our families did many things together. His daughter Sherry and I were good friends growing up. He and my dad Mike were childhood friends and stayed very close through the years. You could always count on Gary to be there when help was needed, have a fridge full of cold beverages, and a wave when he was pulling in the cove on his boat. I will never forget the year our families took a trip together in his motor home, what a great trip. Gary you will be missed by many, fair winds and fallowing seas. Say hi to my Momm. Eileen
