Obituary of Paul A. Bajer

Paul A. Bajer Fairport: Wednesday, April 8, 2020 at the age of 79. Predeceased by his parents, Walter and Mildred; sister, Patricia DeMarco. He is survived by his daughter, Danene Thomas; son, Daniel (Donna) Freida; former wife, Dale Bajer; 4 grandchildren, niece, nephews and cousins. Paul grew up in Buffalo, NY and moved to Rochester in his twenties. Paul served in the US Airforce from 1963-1968. Paul's career was in sales, beginning in the tool & die industry and later in real-estate for Neil Hirsch Builders, Century 21(Cardinale), Christa Construction (Thomas Creek). Paul was affiliated for many years with the Monroe Ave YMCA as their Basketball Coach. He was a tireless advocate for patient rights at Hill Haven Nursing Home, where he served as President of the Residents Board. A private memorial service will be held Saturday, June 13th. Inurnment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
