Cannizzo, Nicholas S. Irondequoit: Thursday, May 28, 2020 at age 89. Pre-deceased by his wife, Natalie; granddaughter, Jessica R. Cannizzo; daughter-in-law, Denise A. Cannizzo and his parents, Salvatore and Agnes Venuto Cannizzo. Nicholas is survived by his children, Deborah Cannizzo-Dalton, Nicholas (Mary Passage) Cannizzo, Jr, Jeffrey E. Cannizzo, David (Lynn) Cannizzo, Mark (Laura) Cannizzo, Susan (Diran) M. Jaffarian; 10 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and 1 Great-grandchild on the way also survived by nieces and nephews. Nicholas was an Army Veteran having served during the Korean War. Nicholas will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was a retired Master Electrician from General Motors. He loved soccer, golfing, driving his 1956 Thunderbird, his dog Sissy, going to the gun range and his daily coffee and donuts. Due to COVID-19 services and interment will be private. The family requests that memorial donations in Nicholas' name be made to American Diabetes Association, Humane Society at Lollypop Farm, American Cancer Society- Finger Lakes Region, or to DAV New York 15.
