It was with great sadness that I learned of Ed's passing. I have been married for almost 20 years now with Deidre. Since I’ve known Ed. I still can’t understand the difference between a father-in-law and a father. I will never forget of the many advice he gave me while drinking wine and having lamb chops. When at one point at a late age I decided to go to college. Other than the fact that I had work in the field of technology. I was also inspired by Eds story. Having a Puerto Rican son in law. His kind words with no prejudice of telling me of having a beautiful family and to have a good future to look forward too. Not to only do it for myself but to do it for my family. His words played a major factor to my success as a computer network engineer. After proceeding with my education was when Ed deteriorated with his condition. He would have been very proud of me. We keep an excellent memory of him, and we think very strongly of you and Andrea and all the family. The separation from a loved one, is difficult to accept. We must keep in mind all that he has transmitted to us, his joy of life, his good mood and humor, his sense of relationships and learned to communicate differently with him. To all the family We offer you our most sincere and heartfelt condolences. He will be very much missed.
Sincerely,
David Desarden
