Heaven gained an angel on October 10, 2020. Alice (Osipovitch) Bakewicz passed peacefully, surrounded by her family, at age 87. She is predeceased by her beloved husband of 50 years, Jerome; and 5 brothers: Alexander, John, Walter, Victor, George Osipovitch. She is survived by their 7 children: Jerome, Jr. (Rita), Leonard, Theodore (Shirley), Randall (Katharina), Cynthia Lavere (Mark), Lawrence (Elaine), Anthony (Christina); 12 grandchildren: Tracie, Nicole, Jennifer, Sharlene, Rachel, Alicia, Tyler, Stacey, Stephanie, Joshua, Lauren, Jacob; 5 great -grandchildren: Aliyah, Antonio, Isabella, Brianna, Elliott. Alice lived simply and loved generously. She made the world brighter with a light that shone from within.Her inner beauty was just as bright as her appearance. Alice was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, and friend, who exhibited strength and grace throughout her life. She devoted her life to her family. She will be profoundly missed. Family and friends may call, Wednesday, October 14, at 4:00-7:00 PM, at funeral home, (570 Kings Highway So), where a brief prayer service will be held on Thursday, October 15 at 10:00AM. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, immediately following. In adhering to state requirements, all guests are required to wear face masks. Upon entering the building guests will also be asked to use hand sanitizer. Thank you.
