Jerzy Z. Mydlarz

Irondequoit: Unexpectedly on Friday, October 16, 2020 at the age of 67. He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Regina; sons, Dariusz (Kara) Mydlarz, Wojciech (Kamila) Mydlarz; grandchildren, Alexander and Anthony, and their mother, Amy Bell; Colin, Griffin, Michal and Klara; mother-in-law, Wanda Tomczyszyn; as well as many family members in Poland

Jerzy was born in Poland. He worked hard to educate himself finishing with a Doctorate in Mechanical Engineering. He left his family in beloved Poland and immigrated to the US. He worked for Eastman Kodak, where he holds over 20 patents. After retirement, he started his own business ReMy Appraisal so he could continue to stay busy and work with people he loved. Jerzy had a passion for the outdoors, especially boating with his family and friends.

His family will receive friends Tuesday, October 20, 4-7pm at the funeral home (570 Kings Highway So.). At the family's request, all guests are required to wear face masks. Upon entering the building guests will also be asked to use hand sanitizer. Friends are invited to meet the family Wednesday, October 21, 1:00 pm at St. Stanislaus Church for his funeral mass. Interment private Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to St. Stanislaus Church.
