Sondra L. Pannell

Rochester: Monday, October 19, 2020 at the age of 75. Pre-deceased by her parents, Samuel and Lady Oden; husband, Eldred, and daughter, Shelly. She is survived by daughter, Beth Pannell; grandchildren, Phaina Pannell, and Timothy L. Cato III; great granddaughters, Ayari Marie & Azuri Lee; siblings, Mary DeShields, Levora Wade, Ruth Martin, Julius (Sarah) Oden, and Lovette Goosby; sisters-in-law, Jacqueline (Leonard) Middleton, Barbara Pannell, Mary Ellen Pannell.

Sondra was proud to be a coal miner's daughter. She was brought up on a farm in McRoberts, Kentucky, with her pet pigs and turtles. She often spoke about taking naps in the field and playing in the rain. Sondra was a dedicated and devoted mother who always put her family first. She had a huge heart, very friendly and always greeted you with a smile. Sondra's door was open to all and was very generous and caring.

Sondra's funeral service will be held Saturday, October 24, 10:00 am at the funeral home. Entombment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
