Michael J. Dooley
Webster: Sunday, December 6, 2020 at the age of 69. Michael is predeceased by his loving wife, Janet Dooley; his parents, Joseph and Betty. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Elaine Dunn Dooley; sons, Christopher (Carrie), and Jeffrey Dooley; his bonus children, Ryan (Sarah), Mark (Sarah), and Emily Ashworth; beloved grandchildren, Erin and Justin Dooley, Lyla Ashworth; siblings, Carol Girard, Thomas (Diane), James, Pat, and Mary Dooley, Kate McAloon; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Gerald & Nancy Dunn; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Mark (Joanne) Druziak, Margaret (John) LePage and Chip (Joyce) Dunn; many nieces and nephews.
Mike owned and operated MJ Pipe and Supply. He was a graduate and longtime supporter of Bishop Kearney High School where he was a member of their Board of Directors and ran the Sports Booster Club. Mike was a board member for Christopher's Challenge and WASDA. He believed in giving back to his community and was generous with his time, talent and treasure.
Michael's passions were family, golf and sports-watching or coaching his boys. He loved the Buffalo Bills, the Yankees and Syracuse University. He will be remembered as a devoted husband, loving father and grandfather and hard worker. We will remember his Irish wit and the way he could deliver a story as only an Irishman can!
A special thanks to the loving care of the Friendly Home especially Gina, Elaine and Kim, his nurses who so loving cared for him at the end of his life.
