Dear John, I am so very sorry to see of your mom’s passing. The last time I saw her was at your Dad’s funeral. She recognized me as soon as I walked in and I had not seen her you and I were probably 14/15 years old. I have such great memories of our friendship and being at your home on Ravenwood. Your mom was a terrific lady. Never hesitated to invite me to stay for lunch. I recall she used to boil the hot dogs rather than fry them. She never seemed let on when we were doing mischievous things especially after you got your BB gun. Of course we could only play at your house when your dad was not working the C or B trick. Your mom was one special person to deal with your dad’s work schedule all those years. Yes Moms are very special. Cherish the memories John. Rarely a day goes by, that something doesn’t bring a memory to my heart of my mother. It’s almost twelve years since she passed. It will be the same for you. You and your family are in my thoughts. Dear John and family, I am so very sorry for your family’s loss. Mr and Mrs Schoen were our neighbors on Toni Terrace for my entire childhood- and I have so many wonderful memories of them. Eveann was a wonderful teacher and a dear friend to my parents. My mom, Sue, passed away earlier this year and I’d like to think they are sitting around the kitchen table talking, sharing recipes and showing their latest sewing/craft projects.
