Please share a memory of Martha to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

IRONDEQUOIT – Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at the age of 63 from her battle with cancer. Martha was predeceased by her loving husband of 33 years, Robert F. Blum, and her parents Joseph and Joanne Fraver.

She is survived by her sons, Bryan R. Blum, and Jason L. Blum, and her brother Peter Fraver (Joanie). She leaves seven adoring grandchildren: Zachary, Kevin, Kyle, Erin, Allison, and Kaylee Blum, and Madison Rogers. In addition she leaves amazing nephews Aaron (Kellie) Fraver and Nolan (Lauren) Fraver, along with a host of nieces, nephews, and special godchildren, including Timothy Baumer and Hayley Parker. Martha spent her career in education and retired from the East Irondequoit School District in 2012 as the Pupil Personnel Services Director. She poured her heart and soul into her students, their families, and her staff. She loved her visits to Lake Vista, Port St. Lucie, Florida and trips to the beaches. Martha was a friend of Bill W. for decades and helped guide many women along their journey to a happier destiny. Martha will always be remembered for her generous, loving, positive nature. She loved her friends deeply, especially her trips to the Adirondacks with the girls. Martha loved the Cardinal, which became a symbol for her family and friends to remember her and her beauty. Cardinals appear when angels are near. A very special thanks to her loving care givers and close friends who assisted Martha during her course of treatment.
