Sincere condolences to all in Jack's family. I have many grace-filled memories of Jack and Mary at St. Salome Church. They were among the brighter lights in that wonderful parish. Their children were faithful and reliable altar servers. May Jack rest in God's peace.
Prayerfully.

Mary and Family: My sincerest sympathy on the loss of your beloved husband and father. I first met Jack at a gathering at St. Salome's Church when he was the "head" pancake cooker for a pancake breakfast that was being held there. He was a man with a wonderful if quirky sense of humor who loved his family and his church. He will be missed. Noreene

To Mary and family, I offer my deepest condolences on the passing of Jack. My husband and I became friends with Jack when he worked with Walt at Kodak. We had a hand in getting him and Mary together. We spent camping trips at Hamlin State Park and Darien Lake and I am happy to have all those happy memories. I will always remember him for his good humor. generous spirit and many kindnesses but most of all his smile. He will be missed but not forgotten. I am glad to have known him.
My love to all of you. Sincerely, Marlene Rentovich

Mary and family - May the angels greet your love at heavens gate. I am grateful for you and Jack. I dont know how you are doing, but I know there is a hole in the place Jack had in each of your hearts. Jack was pall bearer at my mom and dads wedding. You and Jack were the binder that help keep us part of the Hillburger family. You loved to take trips to Buffalo and always stopped to see my mom Rita. She loved you both so much. If we didn’t get to see you we heard all the family news from mom. I am sure the heavenly family is enjoying welcoming Jack to heaven. You two were a couple to aspire to. God bless each and every one of you today. Keep the memories close to your heart . With love Colleen and George Zybala.

My deepest sympathies to all of you! Jack (Mr. Hilburger) to me, was a frequent walker by my house, and inevitably I would be out in the garden digging away. He always stopped to talk and say I had the best garden in the neighborhood and I would always tell him that he needed to share his secret with me about how he got that beautiful lawn! We were neighbors for many years and I'll always remember him as kind and gentle. I'll plant something special for you in my garden this summer Jack and in remembrance, I'll call it the Mr. Hilburger! Rest in peace my neighbor! Marion
