My heart goes out to all of Jim's family and friends. I was hired at MCC back in 1995 and Jim was a member of my hiring committee. He watched out for me during the two years that I had the honor of working with him in the Math Department before he retired. Jim was one of the sweetest souls I have ever worked with and this is my 26th year. He was a wonderful, quiet leader. May God grant you all peace as you remember all of the wonderful things about him.

My sympathies are with Jim's entire family. I had the pleasure of working with Jim in the Mathematics Department at Monroe Community College during his two years prior to retirement. He was especially kind to all us there, and was frequently seen with a smile on his face.
