Obituary of Marie E. Alekson

Marie E. Alekson (Geiger) Webster: Passed away on May 3, 2021 at age 92. Marie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and an ardent traveler. Survived by her dearly loved high school sweetheart Peter, husband of 71 years; children, Peter, Beth (Pete) Estlick, Jeanmarie (Paul) Schickling; grandchildren, Jennifer Sharpe (Estlick) and Nathan Schickling; great-grandchildren, Sadie, Sophie, and Josie Sharpe; brother, Rev. James Geiger C.Ss.R.; sister, Margaret Mary (Michael) Volpe and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by beloved son, David and his wife Megan Alekson; daughter-in-law, Gina (Peter Alekson); grandchildren, Crystal and Erick Alekson; brothers, Rev. William Geiger, C.Ss.R., Thomas Geiger; sister-in-law, Muriel Geiger, niece Ellen Volpe. No calling hours. Service at St Rita's Church in Webster on Monday, May 10th at 10 AM immediately followed by burial service at West Webster Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Marie's memory to St Jude Research or Juvenile Diabetes Research.
