Suratny, Werner J. of Irondequoit passed away on Thursday, July 29, 2021. Werner was predeceased by his wife, Amalie, "Mali"; son Walter. He is survived by his sister, Gertrude Suratny, brother, Josef Suratny; sisters in law, Martha (Franz) Sauer, Erika Naun; niece, Barbie (Mike) King; nephew, Gary (Katie) Sauer; great-nieces and nephew, Ashley (Marek), Stefanie, Nicole, Sophie, August and Malina.

Werner accomplished 2 engineering degrees in his lifetime and retired as Vice President from Hickey Freeman after 35 years. He enjoyed playing golf at Durand Eastman and has been a parishioner of Christ The King for over 60 years and a life member of the Knights of Columbus. He also has spent over 3000 days on cruise ships traveling all over the world.

Friends are invited to call on Monday, August 2, 2021 from 4-7pm at the funeral home (570 Kings Hwy South). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at 9AM in Christ the King Church. Entombment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
