Obituary of Mary C. Fields

Fields, Mary C. of Irondequoit passed away on Friday, September 17, 2021. Mary was predeceased by her parents, Neal Lamar and Mary Grace (Lyman) Clarke, and sister, Betty Corpeny, and brothers, Edward Clarke and Robert Clarke.  Mrs. Fields is survived by her loving husband of 75 years, John Fields. Her children, Robert Fields (Jacquelyn), Barbara Harmer (Leslie), John Fields (Lisa) and Pamela Rossi (Jamal). Grandchildren, Todd Williams (Tara Shedlosky), Matthew Williams (Sonya), Carol Lustig, Mary Elizabeth Williams, Catherine Harmer, Brendan Fields (Eleanor), Heidi May, Emily Fields, Noah Fields, Ian Fields, Hanna Fields, David Rossi (Erin), Lia Rossi, Sarah Rossi, Great grandchildren, Wyatt Williams, Oliver Williams, Benjamin Williams, Makenna Williams, Caden Williams, Rowen Williams, Claire Lustig, Elijah May, Finnley May, Ciannah Licata, Sierra Fields, Theodore Fields, Elliott Rossi, Marley Rossi and several nieces and nephews.

Born in Kansas City Missouri, Mary graduated from the Stuart Circle School of Nursing, now Virginia Commonwealth in Richmond, Virginia. She passed many U.S. Power Squadron courses, including Celestial Navigation. Mary enjoyed sailing with her husband on Lake Ontario and in Florida. She enjoyed entertaining, and is especially known for her family sing-along events.

Friends are invited to call at the funeral home (570 Kings Highway So.) on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 from 4PM to 7PM. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 23, 2021 at 11AM at St. Thomas Episcopal Church. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery.
