Betty Schantz 1919 -- 2021 Three days after her birthday, Betty peacefully passed away at the Villages at Mill Landing, where she enjoyed trying new things even at 102. The last to join her siblings and the matriarch of our family, she will be missed by many nieces and nephews, and her loving neighbor Marlene. Betty was a resident of West Irondequoit for more than 70 years. She worked at Kodak and retired in 1984. She enjoyed traveling, gardening and baking during the early years of her retirement. Betty was an avid card player and would usually win, just like she won at life. She loved her family and felt life was amazing. Betty was our favorite Aunt and will be missed. Friends are invited to join the family Thursday, November 18, 9:00 am at the Harris Funeral Home and 10:00 am at St. Kateri at Christ The King Church for her funeral mass. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
