Lisa M. Cole (Coco)
Irondequoit: Died peacefully at home, surrounded by those she loved, on November 30, 2021, following a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. She is survived by her beloved husband of 32 years, Alan Cole; sons, Robert Alan Cole (Katie Edwards), and Brendan Charles Cole; sisters, Rosalind Coco and Ann Lee (Robert) Steiner; mother in law, Donna Bislow and sister in law, Susan (Steve) Kenny, and many nieces and nephews.
Lisa was born and raised in West Webster, New York. She was the daughter of Nelson and Josephine Coco and sister of Charles Coco who all predeceased her. Lisa worked for the Monroe County Department of Human Services; helping those less fortunate than she.
Lisa was a proud and supportive member of her Irondequoit community. She was a parishioner of Christ the King church and involved in all aspects of the church community. She leaves a multitude of extended family, friends old and new, and colleagues who will miss her vibrant personality, her eternal optimism and her caring and compassionate nature. She touched so many lives, all of whom will deeply feel her loss. Her life was a gift to everyone who knew her.
Her family will receive friends Friday, December 3, 4-8pm at the funeral home (570 Kings Highway So.). Friends are invited to meet the family Saturday, December 4, 9:30 am at St. Kateri at Christ the King Church for her funeral mass. Interment Private.
