To all the Tette's, so sorry to learn of Jerry's passing. Back in the 60's, I spent many a day and night at the Tette family home. Terri and I went to high school together and she, Tom and I were all in the AQ dramatics club together. I remember all of you and all the time spent together. Your mom always welcomed all of us! To the Tette Family. I was sadden to see the passing of Jerry. I grew up next door to the Tettes. Although Jerry may have been to old to play ball with his three younger brothers and us younger guys, he would always play catch with me in the street. I would bug the hell out of him while he painted or did chores around the yard, calling me his agitator. He took it all in stride, not surprised he ended up being a good man. John Roth

Dear Fran and Family Gerard is at peace he is seeing all his family and friends but most of all Jesus. Your family is a special family in my life and I will always remember calling you and when i ask for you I get a hang up or some really sick jokes. Mr. Tette had a big impact on my life as a teen and even into adulthood because as friend of John, he always made me feel special when I came to the house or played in the backyard or stayed for dinner. I cherish those moments of laughter and kidding around and my Bills vs. his Giants in 1990 Super Bowl. He was always providing direction, support, care and concern for those he met. He was a true leader. I looked up to him in my teen years because he was a special dad, the kind of special dads we see on TV shows, the kind that melt your heart. That was him. Always loving, always encouraging. When I came over, I knew it would be fun because he wanted it to be that way for us. His Christian values stood out loud and clear and not so much in what he said, but how he lived his life. I take that same approach today when my daughter's friends come to the house. I want them to feel special and cared for. Now enjoy your eternal reward and rest for a life well lived. Open the doors wide for this faithful servant of the Lord. Here he comes. Welcome him.
