Obituary of Arun K. Mandal

Mandal, Arun K. of Fairport passed away on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 surrounded by his loving family. Arun was predeceased by his parents, Bed and Indira (Devi) Mandal. He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Lesia Mandal and his children, Elina (Mark) Elwell, Monica (Garrett) Boehmer, Alexander Mandal, his granddaughter Vivienne Boehmer, his brother, Manoj Mandal and sisters, Lalita Devi and Sunita Devi, and several nieces and nephews.

Arun worked as an engineer for NYSDOT with over 16 years of dedicated service. He also worked for the former Raj Mahal Restaurant on Monroe Avenue and the India House Restaurant in Victor to help support his family. When not working, Arun cherished the time he spent with his wife, children, and granddaughter. He loved to take bike rides and travel with his family. Arun will always be remembered for his strong faith, hard work ethic, loving care of his family, and his passion to serve and socialize with friends, coworkers and customers at the restaurants.

Friends are invited to call at the funeral home (570 Kings Highway S.) on Wednesday, January 5 from 10AM to 12PM. Arun's funeral service will follow at the Funeral home at noon with Rev. Interment will take place at Oakwood Cemetery in Penfield.
