Obituary of James Vincent Cribbin

Cribbin, James Vincent of Irondequoit passed away on Sunday, January 2, 2022 surrounded by his loving family. He was predeceased by his parents, Walter and Rose Gallagher Cribbin, sister and brother-in-law, Patsy and Phillip Jones. Jim is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Cynthia Cribbin. Children, Angela (Tony) O'Geen, Jane Devries, Patrick (Christine) Cribbin, David Cribbin, and James (Robyn) Cribbin. Siblings, Brian Cribbin, Kathleen Spradbery, Michael (Joan) Cribbin, and Christine Cribbin. 6 Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Jim worked for Eastman Kodak for over 30 years of dedicated services as a sheet metal worker.  He learned the sheet metal trade as a young man in his home country of England and mastered his skill through numerous projects as a metal artist.  Jim loved the sport of soccer and was a huge fan of the Liverpool Football Club from England. In his free time, Jim enjoyed playing darts, soccer, and working with metal, but most importanly he cherished the time he spent with his family and grandchildren.

 

Friends are invited to call at the funeral home (570 Kings Highway So.) on Thursday, January 13, 2022 from 12PM to 2PM. Jim's funeral service will follow calling hours and begin at 2PM. With Rev. Joseph Martuscello will be officiating. Interment will follow at White Haven Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donation may be directed to the Alzheimer's Assoc. in Jim's Memory.
