It has been a long time since my last contact with Gerry and his family (through soccer). I remember him as one of "The Good Ones" (as the recent song by Gabby Barret goes) as a father, husband and genuine nice guy. My sincere condolences to his wife Diane and the rest of his family.

One winter evening when I was a kid home alone, I heard voices coming from downstairs. I called my Uncle Jerry and Aunt Diane who lived a few houses down from us and Uncle Jerry rushed right over. He checked out the downstairs and turned off the TV I forgot I had left on. He was always there for us. I never heard him brag or put anyone down. He truly was a great person. My sincerest condolences to the entire Billingsley family. Love you all. - Scott

My thoughts and memories of Jerry are of a man of love of family, integrity and wonderful heart. I have shared in his dry sense of humor, those memories bring a smile to my face every time I think of him. I always loved watching him with Diane and his family. Always a lesson in either love or humor, for me, more of the latter. I loved the tremendous affect he had on my sons as boys, something they both remember well and fondly. You will always be thought of with love and much respect Jerry and greatly missed.

Chrissy and family, Words can not express how sorry I am for the loss of your father. I remember that he could always make me laugh. My father always enjoyed his company and reminiscing about Kodak when the two of them attended Mercy functions. I hope your memories of your dad give you comfort during this most difficult time.
