I had the pleasure of meeting John and Marlene as they attended the Irondequoit PD Citizens Police Academy and served as Neighborhood Watch Volunteers for our community. They valued their friends, neighbors and neighborhood. I remember when John was my ride along partner when I was working the overnight shift for the IPD. I have such good memories of their kindness toward others and how they cared for so many. It was a pleasure to know them and I value their friendship. My thoughts are with you and your family during this difficult time and I hope that the good memories we have of Marlene and John will guide us through this journey of ours.
God Bless

My deepest sincere sympathy to the family and friends. Marlene was the most amazing women I had the pleasure of getting to know. She was a dedicated worker, caring and above all met all her patients with that beautiful smile (even when she was having a disaster day). We shared many laughs through the years and I missed her when they moved to their new office. Thanks for all the beautiful memories I will cherish along with your many years of friendship. God Bless and rest in peace. May God bring your family strength and healing in the months to come as their memories bring them comfort.
