Wilson W. Fitch, Jr. of Irondequoit passed away at his home on Saturday, February 19, 2022.  He was predeceased by his parents, Wilson and Alice (Woolston) Fitch, Sr., and siblings George Fitch, and Kathryn (Robert) Townsend.  He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Mary Lou (Stalley) Fitch; children, Marcie (Dave Martin) Radack, Eric (Robin Mullen) Fitch, Heidi (Normand) Dufresne, and Kurt (Leticia) Fitch; sister, Patricia (Glenn) Fairchild; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Wilson was born in Canandaigua, NY and proudly served his country in the US Navy during WWII.  He married Mary Lou on June 21, 1953 in Old Forge, NY.  During his 32 year career with the East Irondequoit School District, he worked as a physical education teacher, coach, and high school administrator. Wilson was an avid golfer, and served on the Board of Directors of the Rochester District Golf Association where he was honored to have spent over 20 years as head Rules Official.  As a member of the Third Presbyterian Church choir, he shared his passion for singing for over 60 years.  

Friends are invited to attend a memorial service for Wilson on Saturday, July 30, 2022 at 2:00 PM at the Third Presbyterian Church, 4 Meigs St, Rochester, NY 14607. In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to the Rochester District Golf Association, or the Third Presbyterian Church Music Program.
