Obituary of Patrick M DeNero

DeNero, Patrick M. age 92 of Irondequoit passed away on Monday, February 28, 2022 surrounded by his loving family. Patrick is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Margaret G. (Lanza) DeNero. Sons, Michael (Helen) DeNero, David (Annie) DeNero, Anthony DeNero, and Patrick DeNero. Grandchildren, Robert(Larissa) DeNero, Steven (Katie) DeNero, David DeNero, Kirk DeNero, Amanda (Angel) Aquino, Patrick DeNero, and Parker DeNero. Seven great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and friends.

Patrick was born in Rochester, NY son of the late, Michael and Libby DeNero. He proudly served his country in the US Army. He married Margaret Lanza on July 26, 1952 in Rochester, NY. Pat managed Noah's Ark Automotive supply store for over 20 years and then went to work for Xerox. In his free time, Patrick enjoyed gardening, golfing, and hosting family and friends and was always quick to make a strong drink for his guest. Patrick always cherished the time he spent with his wife and sons and will be remembered as a dad who took great interest in his boys and their families. The family would like to thank the 6th floor Nursing staff and Aides at St.Anne's Home for their loving and compassionate care tor Patrick and his family.

Friends are invited to join the family on Friday, March 4, 2022 from 1PM to 3PM at the funeral home (570 Kings Highway So.). Funeral service will start at 3PM. Interment will take place at the convenience of the family. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to St. Jude's Hospital in Patrick's memory.
