Obituary of Christopher D. Wilson

Wilson, Christopher D. "Chris" of Rochester passed away on Thursday, March 3, 2022 surrounded by his loving family. He was predeceased by his father, Duane Wilson. Chris is survived by son, Cameron Wilson, mother, Mary Lou Wilson, brother, Craig (Missy) Wilson, nephew, Patrick Wilson, Grandmothers, Ruth Regensburger and Elaine Wilson, Uncles, John (Cathy) Wilson and Paul Regensburger, Aunts, Lisa Regensburger and Gina (Wade) Weaver, and numerous cousins.

Chris graduated from St. John Fisher with a bachelor degree. He developed his love of cars at an early age from his father and after college went on to work as a sales manager at Vincent Volkswagen. Always a selfless person, his passion eventually turned toward helping others, and he spent the last 4 years at Rochester Regional Health as a social worker. In his spare time, Chris loved detailing and customizing his beloved '92 Firebird, participating in car shows, watching his favorite football team, the Miami Dolphins and cheering on his favorite Nascar drivers, which had in the past included #3 Dale Earnhardt. But most importantly, Chris cherished the time he spent with his loving son Cameron, who meant the world to him. He will always be remembered as an amazing father and a loving son.

Friends are invited to join the family on Tuesday, March 8, 2022 from 4 to 7PM at the funeral home (570 Kings Highway So.). Friends are invited to meet the family on Wednesday, March 9, 2022 at 10AM at Christ the King Church for his funeral mass. Interment will follow in White Haven Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to the Cameron Wilson Trust C/O Mary Lou Wilson, 161 Cinnabar Road, Rochester, NY 14617 in Chris's memory.
