Obituary of George M. Tomczyk

Entered into eternal rest on March 22, 2022 at 78 years of age. He is survived by Carole, his dearly beloved wife of 51 years; sister, Lucille (Robert) Butler of AZ; nephew, Christopher Butler also of AZ; numerous cousins and wonderful friends. He was predeceased by family members including his parents, Henry and Lucille Tomczyk, brother-in-law, Robert E. Butler and nephew, David A. Butler.

A native and lifelong resident of Rochester, George was a graduate of St. Bonaventure University, a veteran of the U.S. Army and a retiree of the University of Rochester.

At George's request, there will be no calling hours and his interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, please consider supporting the Wilmot Cancer Institute at the U of R Medical Center and the Humane Society at Lollypop Farm, 99 Victor Rd. Fairport, NY.
