Dear Mike and Jim, You don't know me, but I am a coworker and long-time friend of Lois'. I just heard about her passing today (4/29/22) because I no longer reside in Rochester, New York. I currently live in Kansas City with my husband, daughter and son inlaw, and sorrowfully lost connection with her about 5 years ago. I don't know exactly why this happened, but attributed it to possibly her failing health and my crazy life. Even though she rarely mentioned her health issues, I knew she was not feeling well. You see your Aunt Lois never wanted to burden others about her issues, she was a very unselfish and amazing person (and a private person). I was sad about the news of Lois' passing, but remember that she told me a long time ago that she did not want people to be sad when she had passed. I just want you to know that your Aunt Lois always spoke highly about you boys and your mother Arlene. She loved you all dearly. I also want you how much of an influence she had on my life. Her strength and wisdom she passed on to all that knew her well, as I did. While working at DuPont, Lois was respected by all. She had a tough time in those years, as I did, because it was truly a man's world back then with little regard and respect for women in general. And Lois' strength taught those who didn't show respect - to respect her. By the time she (Lois) was done working with you, you always walked away with high regard for her whether you liked her or not. Her kindness, goodness, and professionalism at DuPont was an accomplishment because she never compromised those values for anybody. I can tell you so many "great" things about Lois that it would take pages. She was a one-in-a-million person who I feel so grateful to have known in many lifetime. I feel blessed to have known Lois Studley. Condolences to the Wunch family, From Carolyn Hasenauer

I played golf many times with Lois in our Irondequoit Women’s league. She was so much fun, with her dry sense of humor. A really good golfer, too ! So sorry to hear of her passing. Marilyn Bonadio
