Bender, Roland "Walt"
Pittsford. Monday, December 22, 2008 at the age of 87. Predeceased by his parents Walter an dMildred Bender, brothers, Edward and Donald Bender. Walt is survived by his wife of 39 years, Marie Fantauzzo Bender, daughter, Sandra(Edward) Mason, son, David(Donna) Bender, step children, Frank(Ferne) Fantauzzo, Louis(Carol) Fantauzzo and Mark(Catherine) Fantauzzo, 14 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, aunt, Antoinette Meyer of San Jose, CA., sister-in law, Anna Bender, nieces, Sharon(Jim) Ludlow, Deborah Bender, special niece, Linda(David) Fantauzzo-Smith, brothers and sisters-in-law. Walt was a retiree of Strong Memorial Hospital, Pathology Department.
His family will receive friends Sunday 12-2 pm at the funeral home, where his funeral service will at 2:00. Interment will be held in private. In memory of Walt, memorials may be directed to Camp Good Days and Special Times, 1332 Pittsford-Mendon Rd., 14506 or Benincasa Hospice Care, 3880 Rush-Mendon Rd., 14506.
