We were new to the neighborhood and Dick was the first to welcome us. He told us he knew we were going to be the ones moving in after he saw our little girl twirling in the front yard during our viewing :) He always had a friendly smile while out working in his yard and often came over to offer any assistance while we were out working on ours (plus he would say he had just about any tool you could need with a chuckle!) Our deepest condolences to his family and friends. He will be missed! The Zimmerman Family

Our deepest condolences to Dick's friends and family. His gentle nature, friendly smile and wave, or offer of a cold beer in a frosted mug will never be forgotten. He and Irene were such lovely people the Buttonwood neighborhood will miss them both for sure. ~The Seewagens

Richard (Dick) was my next door neighbor for the past 14 years. He and his late wife, Irene were always so warm and welcoming to me and my family. He never hesitated to check on us and come over and help us when needed. My fondest memories are sharing delicious ginger sodas on the patio with both Dick and Irene. He was one of the most kindest and helpful souls. I am still in shock at his sudden passing. He will be missed terribly. Rest well my friend. I hope you are dancing with the love of your life.

Richard (Dick) was a very dear and wonderful friend and neighbor. He and his wife Irene were our neighbors for about 30 years, we shared many good times together. We will miss him dearly.
