Giuseppe Ilii

Gates: Monday, August 8th, 2022 at the age of 73. Predeceased by his parents, Pasquale and Domenica; uncle, Dino Ruggeri. He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Lucille (Cerasoli); son, Giuseppe Ilii Jr; siblings, Adelina (Pietro) Soricone, Rita Giorgone, Vince (Sandy) Ilii; brothers and sister-in-law, Don (Lisa) Cerasoli, Sharon Cerasoli, and Anthony Alati; aunt, Angela Ruggeri; nieces and nephews, Patricia, Pat, John, Monica, Jessica, Sammi-Jo, Nick, Shannon, Rachel, Erica, Joey, Zack, Nicole, Andrea; special friends, Bob, Anthony, Mike, John, Dave, Wendy, Renee, Dee Dee; several cousins, great nieces and nephews, and extended family and friends in Pescina, Italy.

Giuseppe was a US Army Veteran serving during the Vietnam Era as an MP. He worked at Kodak for over 40 years and was best known to his co-workers as Papa Joe. In his spare time, Joe loved hunting, soccer, watching the Dallas Cowboys, eating pasta and making his homemade wine and sausage. Most recently, he was truly blessed to go on the Honor Flight with his son Joe to Washington D.C.

His family will receive friends Sunday, August 14th from 1:00pm- 4:00pm at the funeral Home (570 Kings Hwy S.) Friends are invited to meet the family TUESDAY, August 16th at 9:30am at Sacred Heart Cathedral for his Funeral Mass. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
