Magro, Jr., Stephen of Rochester, passed away on Thursday, September 15, 2022 surrounded by his loving family.  Steve was predeceased by his parents, Stefano and Vincenza (Manzoni) Magro and grandson, Brody Magro.  Steve is survived by his children, Mark (Sharon) Magro, Michael (Tina) Magro, Debra Magro and Danny (Deanna) Magro. Grandchildren, Mark Anthony (Lindsay) Magro, Heather (Anthony) Ricci, Tyler (Molly Roy) Magro, Briana Magro and Nick Saurini, Sean Magro and Danielle Magro. Ex-wife, Gail (John) Hall and several nieces and nephews.

Steve proudly served his country in the Army Air Corp during WWII.  Steve moved to California in 1956 and started his own company installing swimming pools, hardwood floors and a remodeling contractor.  While in California, Steve had 3 children and loved to take trips to Las Vegas and to the Santa Anita racetrack.  Steve returned to Rochester in 1965 and his fourth Child was born in 1966.  Steve went to work for Eastman Kodak as a construction worker and retired with over 30 years of dedicated service.  In his free time, Steve enjoyed playing Poker, Euchre, and was proud of his Horologist certification.  Steve loved spending time with his friends, but always cherished the time he spent with his family and grandchildren.  

  Friends are invited to meet the family on Sunday, September 25, 2022 from 4 to 8 Pm at Murph's Pub (155 Pattonwood Dr, Rochester, NY 14617).  Interment will take place in Irondequoit cemetery at the convenience of the family.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to the American Cancer Society in Steve's memory.  RIP Stevie.
