Grandpa you protected me and gave me a place to live for a long time of troubles. I remember happier times, movies we watched and I forgive you for being unable to protect me in your final years. I love you still and I miss you so much. May this message reach you peacefully in heaven.

We at RGH met Jim decades ago when his wife was a patient on our 5200 unit for some time. He became part of the fabric of that unit and after her passing, joined us in the Emergency Department as a devoted volunteer and friend. His care and generosity knew no bounds!!! He introduced me to true English tea and the proper way of making it, and I still use the cloth bag he gave me to store plastic bags in the kitchen. I am honored to have (and use!!) many of his family recipes including those from his sister in France. I thought of him as I made his scone recipe to eat while I watched Her Majesty's funeral last month. A special special man..... May his memory be for a blessing

I'm so sorry to hear of Jim's passing. Over the years we shared a lot of fun and laughs! Jim would attend our Softball Games and End-of-Season parties, along with other celebrations, at local 'watering-holes'! He was loved very much by us all, and made new friends, with each new softball season. He showed up to our games with his lawn chair and cheered us on. We will never forget you Jim. RIP...xoxo-Pammy and Friends

Dear Sheridan Family,
I am so sorry for your loss. I will always remember Jim as the fun person in this picture. He was a wonderful friend, who shared many great stories, supported our softball team and attended many outings at the Jagusiak’s home. He will be greatly missed. We have lost a great person and God has received a special angel. Rest In Peace Jim.
Much Love, Lynn Spurr
