I had the pleasure of serving Kathleen in the dining room of an assisted living facility. Despite her many physical limitations she was always cheerful, smiling and laughing, and quick with a joke. She remembered the names of everyone on the wait staff and took a genuine interest in our lives, and was happy to share stories from her own. Both the staff and her fellow residents admired her upbeat attitude and zest for life. It was a true honor to be able to work with her, and she was sorely missed by all when she moved out. My deepest condolences to all who knew and loved her. She was a very special person.

I remember her first year of teaching at Olympia HS in 1960-61.I was president of the student council and she was the faculty advisor. We stayed in contact for a number of years including a picnic/water skiing Saturday afternoon on herUncle Morgan’s boat. After I graduated from college I went into the real estate business and was the broker when she and Bill bought the house on Sagamore Dr. The years passed and we lost touch and I regret that. Truly a wonderful caring lady Tom Wills
