I was greatly saddened to hear of Jim's tragic passing. I worked with him at Grossman's many years ago. I remember him as being such a wonderful young man. He had such a great work ethic at such a young age and was always helpful and respectful. My deepest condolences to his family, especially his sons. Rest in peace, Jim.

My sincere condolences to the entire family on the loss of such a special man. An exceptional dad (he learned from the best), son, brother, uncle, friend and more. My heart is shattered. My dear love and forever friend of over 40 years. I will miss you so very much. I will cherish all the memories we’ve made over the years. From teens -to buying our first home together-our first puppy- to having our sons weeks apart. ❤️❤️❤️ Roads twisted and turned for us but there was always that circle at the end where we would catch up. I’m so thankful for The Song Remains The Same midnight movie where we were introduced in the early 1980’s and Skatetown and Seabreeze. You were so special to me and my girls. I Thank You.... To the Hall family, I’m sending so much love to you all. I am so deeply sorry for your loss. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Johnny and David extra hugs to you both.

I have no words to express how sorry I Am about Jim’s passing. He was an incredible person who had such a huge heart and a kind soul. Jim and I dated for 2 1/2 years many years ago and I was lucky enough to reconnect with him a few years ago. I was able to see that the young man I knew so long ago turned out to be an amazing father. He was always a wonderful uncle and now had his own children to adore. I remember one time he was washing and cutting up strawberries for Johnny and David because “that’s the way they like them”❤️ He loved his boys more than anything in the world and it was obvious how much they adored their father. My prayers go out to them! Jim’s father is also very much on my mind. You raised an amazing man and I know he had a huge amount of love and respect for you. Of course thoughts and prayers to his siblings and everyone else who was fortunate enough to love and be loved by Jim Hall. Sincerely, Christine Bell Wallace

Jim , we’ve been friends’ for 37 years. You are more than a friend you are a brother to me.. I will miss our talks on the phone and getting together. You have the biggest heart. You’ve helped so many people out. You are a fantastic person and father to your sons.. you will always have a place in my heart. When I hear a zeppelin tune. I’ll remember you trying to sing like Robert Plant. A day won’t go by that I will miss you. Take care my Jimmy Jim!!
