Obituary of Dorothy Marie Ghostlaw

Dorothy Marie Ghostlaw age 88 of Lima, NY passed away on Monday, November 1, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. Dorothy was born on April 16, 1934 in Malone, NY and graduated from Bombay High School. Dorothy moved to Rochester, NY and married her high school sweetheart, Robert on February 27, 1954. Dorothy worked for CMX for numerous years as a medical courier and then went to work for the Honeoye Falls-Lima Central School District where she worked until retirement. In her free time, Dorothy enjoyed going to the casinos, buying gifts for others,road trips with family and friends, but most importantly Dorothy always cherished the time spent with her family and grandchildren.

Dorothy is survived by her sons and daughters in law, Scott & Lynn Ghostlaw of New Smyrna Beach, Florida, James Ghostlaw and Shelly Smith of Naples, NY, Donna & Steve Scutella of Rochester, NY. Grandchildren, Lindsay & Darrick Groet of West Bloomfield, NY, Robert & Lauren Ghostlaw of Honeoye Falls, NY, Julie Ghostlaw of Nairobi, Kenya, and Jamie & Geoff Anselm of Macedon, NY. Great grandchildren Ethan & William Groet, Bailey Anselm, Olivia Ghostlaw and Bobby & Lauren will be having a baby to join our family. Several nieces and nephews.She was predeceased by her husband, Robert Ghostlaw, parents, Arthur and Gladys (Kernan) Yops. Brother, Kernan Yops.

A Mass of christian burial will be held at a later date. Interment will take place in Notre Dame Cametery, Malone, NY at the convenience of the family.
