Obituary of Paul Arnold Robertson

Robertson, Paul A. Irondequoit: Saturday, July 10, 2010 at the age of 91. Paul is survived by his sweetheart of 65 years, Doris, daughter Linda (Jim) Cannon, sons Max "Bruce" (Kathy) and Scott (Pat) Robertson, grandchildren, Adam, Mark, Katie and Corey, great grandchildren Zachary, Joshua, Sammy, Taylor, Olyvia, Riley, Kailan and Brody. Paul was a veteran of WWII and worked at the Democrat and Chronicle for 33 years. He was a legend of long distance running. Paul ran across America when he was 63 years old and ran and finished over two dozen marathons including Boston ten times. He will join his Uncle Per at Minot's Lighthouse, Cohasset, Mass. Paul made this world a better place. 1...4...3 Dad! Thank you to all the special people at Rochester General, especially his friends Jennifer Stiles and Troy Green. No prior visitation. A Memorial service will be held at Spiritus Christi, located at the Downtown United Presbyterian Church, 121 N. Fitzhugh St. on July 27, 2010 at 6:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Camp Good Days and Special Times.
