Romana T. Shot

Irondequoit: After a long battle with cancer on Friday, November 18, 2022 at the age of 75. She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Taras; sons, Gregory Shot, Nicholas Shot, and Daniel (Sara Ferguson) Shot; brother, Walter (Lydia) Kostiuk; extended family in Canada, and PA, as well as many friends.

Romana worked for the Rochester Ukrainian Federal Credit Union and the Rochester City School District for over 30 years. She enjoyed cooking and will be remembered as a loving wife and mother who was always welcoming to family and friends.

Her family will receive friends Tuesday, November 29, 4-7pm at the funeral home (570 Kings Highway So.). Panachyda 6:30pm. Romana's Divine Liturgy will be held Wednesday, November 30, 10:00 am at St. Josaphats Ukrainian Catholic Church. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to St. Josaphats Church or RocMaidan.
