Obituary of Ralph A. Horton

Ralph A. Horton passed away on Friday, November 18th, 2022 at the age of 86. He was predeceased by his mother, Constance Horton, and brothers John Horton, Jr. and Roger Horton. He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Kathleen; daughters Marianna (Gordon) Mermin and Sarah Horton; grandchildren Joely, Frances, and Theo Mermin; brother Rance Horton; sisters Jeanette Furstoss, June (Dominic) Piazza, and Rosemary (Louis) Bouchard; and many nieces and nephews.

Ralph began practicing law in 1965 and never fully retired. While he spent his career based in Rochester, he never hesitated to cross the state in every direction to serve his clients. He also had passions for reading, cooking, travel, the performing arts, and education, serving on and assisting with a number of educational boards during his free time. He always enjoyed sharing these passions with his family, who were his greatest love.

His family will receive friends Friday, November 25, 4:00 - 7:00 pm at the funeral home (570 Kings Highway So.). Friends are invited to join the family Saturday, November 26, 11:00 am at St. Kateri At Christ The King Church for his funeral mass. Entombment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
