Irondequoit: Sunday, November 20, 2022 at age 54. Predeceased by his mother, Mary Anne C. Shannon. James is survived by his wife, Stephanie C. Shannon; sons, Nickolas Shannon and Brian Shannon; his father, Thomas A. Shannon; siblings, Thomas G. (Regina) Shannon, Michael (Monica) Shannon, Maureen (S. James) Wright; his father and mother-in-law, Paul and Nadia Bobbo; sister-in-law, Victoria Butler; several nieces and nephews.

His family will receive friends Sunday, November 27, 1:00 - 4:00 pm at the funeral home (570 Kings Highway So.), where his funeral service will be held Monday, November 28, 10:00 am. In lieu of flowers, donations in James' memory can be made to The Friends of the Irondequoit Public Library, 1290 Titus Avenue, Rochester, NY 14617.
