Obituary of William R. Hickey

Hickey William R. of Rochester passed away on November 30, 2022. Bill was predeceased by his parents, William J. and Clare Vroman Hickey, Beloved wife, Laura Hahn Hickey, and twin Brother Michael J. Hickey. Bill is survived by his daughter, Theresa Hickey, Sister, Maureen (Victor) Rohr, Brothers, Thomas (Linda) Hickey and Steven (Tonita) Hickey. Grandsons, Gabriel and Joel Adamson. Special friend Kelly Marapese and her dog Layla. Numerous nieces and nephews and many dear friends.

Bill was a lifetime Rochester area resident. He graduated from Sacred Heart Cathedral School and Aquinas Institute. Bill proudly served his country in the US Air Force. Bill was retiree of American Packaging Corporation. In his free time, Bill enjoyed attending auto shows, going out to breakfast, and Bill knew every good diner type breakfast in Rochester area. Bill always cherished the time he spent with his family and friends.

Friends are invited to join the family for a Celebration of Bill's Life on Saturday, January 21, 2023 from 2 to 4PM at the Irondequoit Community Center, Seneca Community Room, 450 Skyview Centre Parkway, Suite 200 Rochester, NY 14622 (Formerly known as the Irondequoit Mall). In Lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to the National Breast Cancer Foundation, National Multiple Sclerosis Society, American Diabetes Association, or the Rochester School for the Deaf in Bill's memory.
