Irondequoit: Friday, December 23, 2022 at age 88. Predeceased by her husband, Gordon, special companion Cyril Plasschaert and sister Marion Boehler. Doddie is survived by her children: Joann (Michael Doohan) McIlwaine, Carol (Ray Roberts) Schmidt and James (Kelly) Schmidt; Grandchildren: Michelle, Morgan, Tracy, Julian, Jake and Tory; Great-grandchildren: Gianna, Landon, Travis, Jayda, Madison, Josiah, Leon, Jace, Jalen and Amayah; Sister Barbara Espe and many nieces and nephews.

Her family will receive friends Wednesday, January 4, 2023 from 3:00 - 7:00 PM at the funeral home (570 Kings Highway So.). Friends are invited to join the family Thursday, January 5, 2023 at 10 AM at St. Kateri at St. Margaret Mary Church for her funeral mass. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to St. Paul Blvd. Fire Dept, 433 Cooper Road, Rochester, NY 14617.
