Irondequoit: Our dear mother was welcomed into heaven on December 28, 2022 after a long battle with Alzheimer's. She will be sadly missed and always hold a place in our hearts. A kind woman who people trusted deeply, her passion was gardening flowers. Tulips being a favorite. Her flower beds bloomed with magnificance.

Predeceased by her husband of 54 years Daniel H. Black. She is survived by her 4 daughters Carla (Bill) Kraemer, Lorraine (Nathan) Lubba, Linda (Bruce) Soppe and Karen (Chris Muller) Black and her dog Max. Brothers Robert (Susan) Saucke, Raymond (Mary) Saucke, Sister Ella Schmidt and Grandchildren: Anthony Morreale, Daniel (Amanda) Morreale, David (Katie) Morreale, Kyle (Marisa Vattana) Soppe, Kurt (Molly) Soppe, Keri (LeAndre) Hundley, Jesse (Kerri) Palermo, Caleb Muller, and eight great grandchildren and many nephews and nieces.

We would love for you to come honor her life at the funeral home on Saturday, December 31, 3-5pm with memorial service at 5pm. In lieu of flowers, please consider giving a donation to the Alzheimer's Association or a charity of your choice in memory of Marian.
