Obituary of Diane Raftery Leavy

Diane Denise Raftery Leavy Diane passed away Saturday December 31st 2022, at age 66. She was born December 11th 1956 to Vivian and John Raftery. Predeceased by stillborn daughter Catherine Leavy and sister Marianne Raftery. She is survived by her devoted husband Anthony Leavy, children Brian (Elizabeth) Leavy, Sean (Kelly) Leavy, Brighid (Jeff Phillips) Simonds, Patrick (Caileen) Leavy, Brendan (Lauren) Leavy, Meghan Leavy, Colleen Leavy, Kevin Leavy, 13 grandchildren, her sisters Linda Flow and Patricia Raftery, many nieces, nephews and Mother-in-Law Margaret Leavy. Diane graduated from SUNY Brockport with her BA and MA in Education, and was the founder of the Catholic Homeschoolers of Western New York. Her family will receive friends Friday, January 6, 4:00 - 7:00 pm at the funeral home (570 Kings Highway So.). Friends are invited to join the family Saturday, January 7, 11:00 am at St. Kateri At St. Thomas The Apostle Church (4536 St. Paul Blvd) for her funeral mass. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
