Obituary of Margie G. Holland

Margie Gale Holland (nee Margie Gale) passed January 25, 2023, at age 96. Born February 20, 1926 in New York City to Paul Gale and Ina Mason (Moisio). After her parents passed, she was raised by her grandparents Stina and Albin Moisio in Spencer, NY. She attended Spencer Central School.  As a teenager her grandparents moved to Lantana, Florida where she met Joseph Holland, Jr.  She and Joseph had four children: Thomas (deceased), Joseph (Carol), Ina, and Deborah Reynolds (James)

In 1954 she and Joseph moved to Fort Lauderdale Florida where Margie was hired by the Broward County District Schools as a school bus driver. After retiring as a driver for 34 years she moved to Cooperstown, NY. In 2005 at 79 years old she moved to Rochester, NY to be close to her daughter Deborah and James.

She leaves her 3 grown children, 5 Grandchildren: Kimberly, Katherine, Joseph, Spencer, and Patrick, 6 great Grandchildren: Riley, Hunter, Hailey, Hayden, Sasha, and Selena and 1 great great grandchild: Hudson.

She will be interred with her mother at Evergreen Cemetery, In Spencer, NY on May 5, 2023.
