Ward H. Stanton

February 15, 2023, 87 yrs of age. Ward was born in Blue Mountain Lake, NY. As legend has it, Ward was delivered by the local veterinarian, during a snowstorm in the middle of May. Ward is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Lorraine (Sis), and his five children, Henry (Jean), Andy (Sheri), Cindy (Mike), David (Lauren), Donna, 18 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, extended family and many friends. Ward proudly served as a PFC in the US Marine Corps., and after 45 years of public service Ward retired as a Captain in the Brighton Fire District. Ward and Sis enjoyed many trips on their motorcycle enjoying scenic areas across the US. During retirement Ward enjoyed a good game of golf and spending time with his friends and family. Those closest to Ward will remember him as a kind and loving man, putting family ahead of all else. Friends may call at the funeral home, (570 Kings Highway So.) on February 21, 2023, from 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm. His funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 9:30 am on February 22, 2023.
