I didn't know John very well because I never worked with him directly. However, what I do know is that John was always positive and full of life. His family and heritage were very important to him. And he loved his wife and missed her terribly.
At least now they are together!
And to the family: John was a wonderful man. There is nothing he wouldn't do for the guys he was friends with at the office. I'm sure that thoughtfulness and devotion extended into his personal life as well.
My thoughts and prayers are with you.

My memory of John will always be his big, booming voice, his quick smile and his laughter that could be heard through the hallways. I learned many lessons from John and for that I will always be grateful.

It was a privilege, an honor, a gift and a joy to have worked for John. He was an outstanding manager who treated us all as unique individuals that were part of his work "family". He was a very caring person whose unique personality, laughter, great stories, love of Italy and family were an inspiration.
My deepest sympathy to his family.

Annette, Renee and family: Although I never worked directly with your father directly, I had the honor to get to know him over the past year and a half. His pictures of Italy, the family and bottles of olive oil in his office along with that unending smile are memories I am privileged to have. He had a way of warming up a room when he was there. He leaves a living legacy not only through you and your children, but also with us here, his Xerox family. I will continue to keep you in my prayer and may the Lord provide you comfort during this time of grief. Deepest Sympathies,
Nancy Lopez

Norma and Tony Leone posted a condolence
Dear Annette and Renee, We were so very sorry to read about your father and send our very deepest sympathy to both of you. We knew your father mostly when Annette was skating, and he a wonderful, cheerful person always. I (Norma) knew him well because he helped so much on the skating shows I worked on. He was always willing to do whatever I asked, and often much more. He always smiled, and when I asked him to do anything to help w/the shows, his answer was always "no problem." His energy and enthusiasm was wonderful, and I admired him for that and for his energy in driving Annette to Lake Placid for skating - he did that the same way he did everything, with a smile and a "no problem" attitude.
I had not seen your father for many years, but our son Tony was him at Xerox occasionally, so we knew he was still active and were so sorry to hear of his passing. Our thoughts and prayers go out to both of you. Warmest wishes from both of us, and fond memories of a wonderful man.

Please accept my condolences for the passing of John. I first met John many years ago as a colleague at Xerox, and grew to regard John as friend as I continued to work with him. John was a very kind and considerate man who gave tremendous support at work to anyone needing help. His opinion was much respected by all and he made people he worked with feel good. We in England, who originally worked for Rank Xerox, will greatly miss him.

To the Family of John,
I reunited with John last year over the internet. John and I were classmates in grammar school, jr. high, and High School. We lived on the same street growing up. We talked countless times about the good old days and planned to get together for our 50th Reunion last fall with everyone. Unfortunately, John got sick and couldn't make it. He is in a better place now . May he rest in peace.
