Our brother Tom's passing is difficult knowing how great a brother he was to all of his seven siblings, let alone how wonderful he was as a husband to Gail, a father to his daughters Robin and Erin, and to his son Tom, and Poppy to his grandchildren, and great grandchildren. I can't specifically define what a great brother is except to describe our brother as very supportive in our endeavors, there when you wanted him to be there, comforting in our difficult moments, and loving beyond measure. Our mother called him Tim, but to us he was always Tom. Possessing a fantastic sense of playful humor, he loved nothing better than a tease he could give, as well as take one for himself. His work and his hobbies were performed as a perfectionist! He knew and helped more people than I could express; never leaving any one out, no matter who they were. His giving of his time, talent and skills was known to the numerous family members and friends, as well as the neighbors down the street. You could count on him. Period!
He knew who he was, never put on aires, and was happiest when tinkering with something to see how it worked - and how he could fix it, if not improve it. In summers he was most comfortable in T-shirts and shorts, winters in sweat shirts and jeans surrounded by family - and always wearing a grin when you stopped by. Oh, he also love to wear one of his baseball style hats!
After every visit or phone call, he always said, "God Bless." Now we say to him, "God Bless."
