(Irondequoit): Tuesday, August 3, 2010, peacefully at the age of 80. Joseph is predeceased by his wife Josephine Guida; brother, Anthony Guida; brother/sister-in-law, Phillip and Marie Palermo. Survived by his sons, Joseph (Cheryl) Guida Jr., and David (Linda) Guida; daughter, Mary Beth (Ken Paxton) Guida; grandchildren, Christina, Joseph III, Michelle, Nicole, and Vincent; sisters, Rose Butera and Josephine Palmisano; brother, Joseph (Marlene) Butera; sister-in-law, Brenda Guida; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many dear friends.
No prior calling. Friends are invited to meet the family FRIDAY 10 AM at St. Salomes Church, 4282 Culver Road for his funeral mass. Interment Irondequoit Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Point Pleasant Fire Association, 55 Ewer Avenue, Rochester, NY 14622.
